THE TALL DARK MAN

At her wits' end, Natalie turns to local legend and summons the mythical Tall Dark Man to dispatch with her blackmailing ex. When the murder goes horribly awry, she becomes the target of the very evil she summoned.

THE TALL DARK MAN is a comic thriller film with a supernatural twist that acts as a proof of concept for a feature film (screenplay available upon request). It premiered at the LA Shorts International Film Festival, won Best Thriller at the CineParis International Film Festival, and was an official selection of the Ealing Film Festival in London and SoHo International Film Festival in New York City.

A crew of top notch Bay Area craftspeople from such films as DIDI and ANT-MAN came together in Petaluma, CA to bring the film to life. Ashleigh Morghan (Head Count) and Aion Boyd (The Wild West Chronicles) starred in the lead roles, and cinematographer Evan Weidenkeller shot the film beautifully on an ARRI Alexa Mini with Matthew McGuire, Courtney Coker and Alex Mallonee producing for Covert Ops Films.
